Straight out of the Bronx, NY -- the birthplace of hip hop -- Reminisce "Remy Ma" Smith-Mackie is one of the genre's most respected emcees. As the only female member of Big Pun's Terror Squad, Remy Ma earned her "Queen of Rap" crown with her 2006 solo debut, "There's Something About Remy: Based on a True Story." Her career was derailed after a shooting incident in 2007, which resulted in six years in prison. After her release in 2014, Remy joined Love & Hip Hop ready to win and turn out tracks with her mentor Fat Joe and other hip-hop royalty. With her newfound freedom, Remy is back working on music, cohosting the talk show "State of Culture" and balancing her family life with her supportive husband, Papoose, and kids.

Formerly known as Young B, Bianca Bonnie is a singer, dancer and actress from Harlem, NY. She appears alongside friends Cardi B and Mariahlynn on Love & Hip Hop New York, from Season 6 through Season 8, where she was also featured as one of Yandy's clients. In 2019, J-Hope of the band BTS released a remake of her hit song "Chicken Noodle Soup."

Mariahlynn is a Jersey City, NJ, native who grew up in the foster care system. She started writing lyrics as a teenager, finding sanctuary from the drugs, crime and violence that were so pervasive in her neighborhood. But success didn't come overnight. In her early years, Mariahlynn worked as a stripper and exotic dancer to support her family, and she faced constant industry rejection as a result of her unconventional image and raw personality. Everything changed in 2015 when she caught the attention of DJ Self with her debut single, "Once Upon a Time." Mariahlynn has been grinding nonstop ever since, turning out bops and collaborating with artists like Remy Ma. And despite still struggling to hold her family together, Mariahlynn is determined to take her career to the next level.

Born Cynthia Karen Loving into a military family, Lil' Mo was raised primarily on Long Island, NY, but moved about regularly as her family followed her father's military assignments. She has collaborated with Ja Rule, Jay-Z, Tamar Braxton, Faith Evans and many others, and she was at one time a protégé of Missy Elliott. Her marriage to professional boxer Karl Dargan was featured on Season 7 of the show.
Felicia "Snoop" Pearson

Felicia "Snoop" Pearson is best known for her role on HBO's "The Wire." She wrote the memoir "Grace After Midnight," detailing her life in foster homes and her second-degree murder charge. She has collaborated on music videos with Lil' Mo, Rick Ross and others, and she has appeared in the Spike Lee films "Da Sweet Blood of Jesus" and "Chi-Raq." Snoop was a cast member on Season 7 and Season 8 of Love & Hip Hop New York.

As a husband, father and constant supporter of Black love, Papoose is an outspoken advocate for positive depictions of African-American relationships and families.

He's best known for his platinum-selling record "Deja Vu (Uptown Baby)," which he recorded with fellow rapper Lord Tariq. A father of 10, Peter welcomed children with castmates Amina Buddafly and Tara Wallace at the same time during Season 6 and Season 7.
DJ Self

As the CEO of Gwinin Entertainment, his clients included fellow Love & Hip Hop castmates Mariahlynn and DreamDoll. During his time on the show, he was romantically involved with Yorma Hernandez, Cardi B, Major Galore and others.

Born in Brooklyn, Safaree Samuels shot to fame as the ex-boyfriend of Nicki Minaj. But the rapper-producer-songwriter and Love & Hip Hop mainstay emerged as a star in his own right thanks to his hilarious persona and flair for the flamboyant. After some failed flings, Safaree hooked up with Erica Mena, and the couple married in 2019. After having two children together, Mena filed for divorce in 2021.
