"When You Transition, You Have to Transition for Yourself": Carmen Carrera Breaks Down What it Means to be Trans

"I've never had to discuss anything related to being transgender, you know, it's just a new world," Joe Budden explains as he and Neil try to make sense of what it means to be transgender.

This sentiment is shared by some who haven't been exposed the transgender community and Carmen Carrera was very understanding in taking their questions for curiosity rather than ignorance. In this highlight from Couples Therapy With Dr. Jenn, while defending Caitlyn Jenner, she explains that each trans person has different choices and experiences. When Joe says a penis makes you a man, Carmen explains that "p---y doesn't validate [her] womanhood" and that many trans women do not elect for surgery.

We love that Carmen is able to use her platform to educate the masses and allow her housemates to get a better sense of what it means to be trans.
