After finding her grandfather, Evelyn and her mother take a trip to visit Puerto Rico, where he's lived for the past 62 years. Unfortunately, his home has been devastated by Hurricane Maria.

Ev's grandfather details how people lost their businesses and homes and have had to leave the place they've called home for years. Seeing all of the damage caused by the storm puts Evelyn's own issues into perspective. Instead of focusing on which of the ladies said what, Evelyn realizes that there are United States citizens who have been living without power for months. We know she has a giving heart, and without a doubt, Evelyn will do what she can to give back to the people of Puerto Rico in need.
