2016 has undoubtedly been the year of Teyana Taylor. From stealing the show with her appearance in Kanye West's "Fade" video at the VMA's to slaying Lil Kim's Hip Hop Honors tribute performance and releasing her first sneaker collaboration with Reebok, it's clear the songstress is having the time of her life.

The doting mama served up major bawdy goals while dishing on her journey towards having it all as the cover star of Paper magazine's October 2016 issue.

The 25-year-old songstress revealed that her new journey in motherhood was essential to the success of the "Fade" video. "I honestly don't feel like 'Fade' would have had the same effect had I just been 21, hot body, single," she explained.

Taylor continued, "It was more than just dancing in a sports bra and a thong. You can be superwoman. You can have it all, that balance in your relationship, your family and your career. It's the opposite of the cliché that says kids will slow you or your career down."

Taylor, who paid homage to Grace Jones in her Paper mag photo spread, also shared that seeing fashion icon Anna Wintour at the Yeezy Season 4 fashion show made her a bit nervous. "I saw the posture, I saw the bangs, I saw the bob and I saw the shades, and I said, 'Anna's here.' That's when my nervousness really turned up. I love Anna. I'm obsessed with her. So, to know she was there, that she knows who I am..."

Teyana Taylor is also gearing up for a recurring role on VH1’s upcoming series The Breaks and is set for a stint on Hip Hop Squares.
