Andy Samberg and Adam Levine Did a Bizarre Duet on 'The Voice' Last Night
Andy Samberg's latest alter-ego Connor4Real made his television debut last night (May 10) on The Voice, performing an, erm, spirited duet with judge Adam Levine.
Connor4Real--who appears in Samberg's film Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping--is a cocky Justin Bieber reincarnate, so the duet song choice was particularly on brand. It was called "I'm So Humble," and believe us, it's anything but.
Levine and Connor4Real showed up and showed out during the performance. They transformed The Voice stage into a '50s-style soda parlor and donned letterman jackets during the performance. It was a magical moment ripe with the in-your-face humor Samberg is known for. Connor4Real deserves all the Grammys.
Check out the performance in the video above, and watch Connor4Real offer some ~*advice*~ to Voice contestants below. The most treasured nugget? "You know what's a good piece of advice? If I'm ever at an event, and you really don't want to be there, but you show up and you tell someone on your team to come in after a little bit of time and say 'I'm so sorry, I have to pull him.' And then I could be like, 'Oh damn, I'm so sorry,'" he said. "I still look like a good guy. I don't disappoint them. It seems like it's just business." Pocketing that forever.
Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping comes out June 3.
