Celine Dion's Icon Award Acceptance Speech at the 2016 BBMA Will Leave You in Tears

Celine Dion was the recipient of the 2016 Billboard Music Icon Award. The singer performed a cover of Queen’s “The Show Must Go On" and while accepting her award, gave a poignant speech.

After her flaw-free performance, Dion, whose husband René Angélil died in January, was surprised on the stage by 15-year-old son René-Charles Angelil. Dion was brought to tears by her son's presence and proceeded to dedicate her performance and speech to her late husband.

"Rene, this one's for you. The show must go on," a tearful Dion said while holding her son's hand. The moment was charged with emotion and made for a beautiful tribute to Angélil.
