Ariana Grande Apologizes (Again) For Doughnut-Gate + More News to Kickstart Friday

Plus, watch Jennifer Lawrence do an impression of an iconic pop diva.

Anti-doughnut activist Ariana Grande is apologizing again for the dessert scandal that rocked the world on Wednesday. The pop star made a YouTube clip to address the footage that leaked of her licking powdered doughnuts off the counter at California's Wolfee Donuts and then saying "I hate America" after seeing a tray of particularly sugary treats.

"I feel like seeing a video of yourself behaving poorly that you have no idea was taken is such a rude awakening ... I was so disgusted with myself," she said in the video. "I … shoved my face in a pillow and wanted to disappear, but instead I'm going to come forward and own up to what I did and take responsibility."

She also added that she's "never been prouder to be American … with the advances that we've made in the past couple months and all the wonderful progressive things that have been going on."

Seems heartfelt to us. We wonder if she'll sing about the dangers of doughnuts on her third album? *Fingers crossed.* [People]
