'The View' Gains A Talk Show All-Star In Jenny McCarthy
Huge congratulations are in order for one of the biggest stars in our VH1 family, Jenny McCarthy, who landed a dream job as a co-host of The View.
McCarthy has guest-hosted at the ABC talk show seventeen times, but she really cut her talk show teeth this past year on her own eponymous show here on VH1. Back in February when her show was just starting out, McCarthy told us that her show would be "the fun after-party with girl talk" --- consider this new, earlier gig the fun pre-game with girl talk.
McCarthy said in a statement from ABC "I'm beyond thrilled to be joining Barbara and the other amazing women at the table. I'd like to thank ABC for this great opportunity. I'd also like to give a big thank you to VH1 for their support and for allowing me to fulfill this lifelong dream. I look forward to helping make hot topics a little bit hotter, and showing my mom that my interrupting skills have finally paid off."
