Will Joe Manganiello Upstage THE Channing Tatum in 'Magic Mike XXL'?
Channing Tatum tells Entertainment Tonight that his Magic Mike XXL co-star Joe Manganiello's dance moves are"terrifyingly unreal" in the upcoming film. WHOA there, partner. What are you getting at?
Once again, the original stripper showers Joe with praise. "He's going to blow people's minds in this movie," CT explains.
But wait, will all of his practice cause him to upstage Tatum? Is that even possible? We already know the True Blood star will be super naked in the sequel, but he told ET that his Latina lover Sofia Vergara inspired him to sex up his moves. "The Colombian people, they live life to the fullest," he said. Sooo, she has inspired your dance moves? "The answer is yes."
Don't get me wrong — I'm tickled at the thought of this new and improved Joe, but I don't know how I feel about all of this hype. Channing IS Magic Mike. He has a special place in my heart for being the first stripper to rapidly thrust his bulge (stuffed into a neon thong) right up in my face. OK, it was on a movie screen, but I can pretend.
Even if Channing gets upstaged, I guess I'll just have to get over it and enjoy the film (because watching these guys is so hard). Here's to hot, half-naked men for everyone!
