Madonna Complaining in a British Accent About Heat Is Peak Madonna

"Open the door now. I'm suffocating."

Welcome again to Fave Flashback, where we unearth some of your idols' most iconic interview moments. Today's subject is Madonna, whose faux British accent delighted (and angered) the world in the late '90s and early '00s.

Madge is a notoriously tough interviewee. She's smart, so you better not hit her with stupid, reductive questions.

And you sure as hell better make sure the air is on. In this 2003 interview, Madonna got particularly testy with a news production crew for making her answer questions in a hot, stuffy atmosphere. It's everything and more.

"Open the door now. I'm suffocating," she said. "Just give me a fan. It's unbelievable. I can't even think to answer a question."

As if on cue, the journalist hands Madge a piece of paper and the queen begins to fan herself. Forget Evita. This moment deserves an Oscar. Watch it unfold in the video above.
