Juelz Santana and Kimbella Are Crazy in Love and Don't Care What You Think of Their Engagement
Engagements are supposed to be the most blissful time between a couple. But some folks just couldn't find it in their hearts to give Juelz Santana and Kimbella their moment.
Instead of congratulating Juelz for getting down on one knee and proposing to his longtime girlfriend, people instead attacked the couple over the timing of the engagement. Kimbella in particular received the bulk of the criticism for waiting ten years for Juelz to pop the question. Folks also speculated that Juelz only asked Kimbella to marry him because he'll likely be going to prison soon.
Sadly, the Love & Hip Hop New York couple couldn't enjoy a week of being engaged before having to address the naysayers. In an Instagram comment, Kimbella made it clear that she was willing to wait however long it took for her man to be ready.
Meanwhile, Juelz defends his decision to marry Kimbella when one of his followers claimed he only proposed as a means of keeping her under lock and key once he's away. "If I was worried about someone taking her [while I'm gone] I wouldn't of did it," he claims.
Kimbella and Juelz began dating in 2009 and have two children: Juelz Santana James and Bella Monroe James. Juelz's trial for his March arrest will begin next month.
