Jackie Christie's Strained Relationship with Her Daughter Ta'Kari Has Played Out on Basketball Wives Before

Jackie Christie is currently dealing with her up-and-down relationship with her daughter Ta'Kari Lee on Basketball Wives. Jackie's eldest daughter hasn't appeared on the show yet this season but she has taken to social media to air some of her grievances with her famous mother.

This isn't the first time that Jackie and her complicated relationships with both Ta'Kari and Chantel have played on reality TV before.

In season two of Basketball Wives LA, Ta'Kari and Chantel attended family therapy with their mother to try and deal with some of the deep-seated issues.

Ta'Kari opened up about her mother, saying, "I've always felt a little intimidated by my mom--just nervous jitters and everything. And then with my grandmom passing, that mother relationship I had with her, I compare that to me and your relationship and that's when the question comes in...I didn't feel like I was good enough."

Both she and Chantel discuss their tight bond with their grandmother and feeling like their relationship with Jackie was not as close.

Later that same season Laura Govan met up with Chantel to hear about the way Jackie had allegedly pitted her daughters against one another and why she and Ta'Kari were on the outs more often than not. She said Ta'Kari was always the "outcast."

"For years, my sister and I, we didn't speak to each other--no relationship whatsoever because she always played us against each other. She was, 'She's fat and she's black and you're skinny and need to stay in shape and you're the model,' and it blows my mind," Chantel continued, "The damage that she did to me and my sister's relationship, she won't even take any accountability for."

In the most recent season of Basketball Wives, Jackie's relationship with her daughters is back in the spotlight with Chantel giving birth to a daughter and Ta'Kari's son being badly burned in an accident, sparking a now infamous GoFundMe that received monetary help from Evelyn Lozada.
