"Carrying a Baby Is Not Easy:" LeToya Luckett Opens Up About Her Difficult Journey to Have a Child
LeToya Luckett has been through a lot in the past year. She got married, moved back to Atlanta, and she is expecting a baby girl! But that doesn't mean that everything has come together seamlessly for the mom-to-be.
On the latest episode of T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle, LeToya opens up about the difficulties she had getting pregnant and the fears that come along with carrying a child. While shopping with her friend Que, LeToya admits that she has been feeling alone in her pregnancy as she and her husband Tommi adjust to their blended family. In particular she mentions a scary moment when she was in the hospital and Tommi had to leave to take care of his daughter Madison.
Doctors were afraid that LeToya was going into pre-labor and she was absolutely terrified "especially with what happened last time." In 2015 the singer suffered a miscarriage and "especially now being pregnant again, I remember for my first trimester I was terrified the whole time. Almost not really wanting to accept that I was pregnant because I didn't want it to happen again and I wanted a baby so bad." She tears up as she says, "Carrying a baby is not easy. It's not."
Luckily, all is well with mom and baby and LeToya knows that eventually things will settle in her and Tommi's relationship and they will work out how to better support one another.
Tune in to T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle to see how the couple handles their growing pains and to keep up with LeToya's pregnancy.
