Lil B's Curse On James Harden Was Bad For The Rockets, But At Least It Spawned These Hilarious Memes

Rapper, Soulja Boy associate, and self-proclaimed "historical online figure" Lil B (A.K.A. The Based God) is in possession of the most potent curse in NBA history. Just ask Kevin Durant, who faced the wrath after calling him a wack rapper a few years back.

But now The Based God curse has fallen on Houston Rockets' guard James Harden, who consistently borrows B's signature "Cooking Dance" to celebrate major game plays.

That was not gonna fly with Lil B. He originally let the baller off with a warning, but things got serious when the cooking continued. "He's cursed for the rest of the playoffs and further notice until he speaks on what dance celebration he's doing and where it comes from," B told TMZ.

Not content to just curse him out via social media, the rap deity attended Game 5 of the Western Conference finals, and amped up the curse in person. That pretty much did the trick, because Harden had easily the worst game of his career, wracking up a record number of turnovers.

It was bad news for him, but fantastic news for twitter users, who were treated to an avalanche of memes.

But in the end, Lil B proved himself a just and loving god and lifted the curse because, "I think he gets it."
