Our Prayers Go Out To Jim Jones And His Family After Mama Jones’s House Burned Down

While many of us are enjoying this joyous time with family, Jim Jones is very appreciative his family is alive. Our beloved Mama Jones' home burned down on Christmas Day.

The Love & Hip Hop OG is counting his blessings this holiday season when he learned the first house he ever purchased for our favorite "psychotic" mother burned down. He shared the following video with his Instagram followers:

In modest disbelief he said,

On this Christmas, my mom's house just burned down. But the best gift of all is that my family is together, everybody is safe. It's just crazy. I don't know man. Christmas was going good...I don't know. Sometimes you just gotta count your blessings and one blessing we have is we got my family. We could always buy new houses. We could buy everything new, but we can't buy family new. So maybe this is the time we [could be] closer together anyway. We [might've] needed that. I don't know if this was the price to pay for that but they say God does everything for a reason.

His caption read:

Today I was blessed wit [the] greatest Christmas gift in my life thus far and tht is my family gettin out of th house safe sound n wit out injuries

We can always buy new houses new cars new [everything] but we can't buy a new family

On [the] flip side watchin my momma house burn touch my soul in ways I couldn't imagine

I wasn't raised wit my mother but my son was and his whole life of memories gone in a flash

If u know me then u know I'm gonna buy my family [the] biggest house I can afford and fill it wit more love

The devil is always workin but so is my God I got faith

The Dipset member then went on to say this was the first home he purchased for Mama Jones when he got into some money. Thankfully he is looking at this tragic situation as a blessing in disguise to spend more time for family. Our prayers go out to the Joneses.
