K. Michelle Inspires All to Push "Forward" in Her New Single Featured on 'The Birth of a Nation' Soundtrack

K. Michelle’s new single, “Forward” is not only absolutely amazing but it was inspired for the highly anticipated film, The Birth of a Nation. The single appears on the movie’s soundtrack- one you’d definitely want to get. K. Michelle recently took to Instagram to express her excitement and gratitude for being a part of such an impeccable project.

Each song on the soundtrack is inspired by the film which is centered around Nat Turner, the leader of the slave rebellion in 1831. Other artists on the album include The Game, Meek Mill, 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, and the star-studded list goes on. The Birth of a Nation is set to be released October 7.
