People unveiled its annual Sexiest Man Alive cover this week, bestowing the honor upon living, breathing Ken doll, Chris Hemsworth. The Australian actor has played Thor on the big screen, has muscles in places we didn't know existed, and has the kind of pleasant face for the photos that come with picture frames. But he's far from the sexiest man alive.

If there was any justice in this world the title would go to Joe Manganiello. The former True Blood star is a fitness fanatic, and previously stripped down on screen in Magic Mike. (His character is named "Big Dick Richie" for crying out loud! What more do you want?!) Luckily Manganiello is reprising his role in the 2015 sequel Magic Mike XXL, so we'll have ample opportunity to appreciate his fine form. And of course, there's always next year.
