Jeffree Star Goes On An Epic Snapchat Rant About Who Made Unicorn Makeup Poppin'

Count on Jeffree Star to call it like he sees it. Remember, last year when he came after Kylie and her lip kits? And then there was the drama with Kat Von D. Well, the beef don't stop there.

The popular makeup YouTuber and beauty guru hopped on social media to set the record straight about unicorn makeup and the fact that it, along with everything under the sun, ain't nothing new.

This past weekend, Star noticed a post from fellow beauty celebrity, Too Faced founder Jerrod Blandino, claiming that his brand's Unicorn Tears lipstick is “the original that started a craze and still holds the #1 spot as the best-selling lipstick in all of Ulta.” Blandino added the hashtag “#ThereArentUnicornsInTheAmazon,” which many peeped as a shady dig at Tarte Cosmetics, who just released their own unicorn collection but is more known for their rainforest-themed collection (stay with us!)

It was the Jerrod's emphasis on "original" that sent Jeffrey into a unicorn-crazed fury, which of course was followed by an OD lengthy Snapchat rant setting the record straight on who really made unicorn makeup fetch.

In his 5-minute rant, Jeffree, who also sells a popular lipstick shade called "Unicorn Blood", goes on to say that it's totally reasonable for more than one person to be inspired by the mythical one-horned wonder, and that basically everybody needs to chill TF out. “I just wanted to go on a little rant and just vent because sometimes a bitch needs to let out her feelings and I'm tired of the shadiness. At the end of the day, makeup is about creativity and inspiring others and having fun with art and creating. Let's go back to that.”

We're just shocked that this is, indeed, all over iridescent makeup products *deep sigh*.
