Tiffany Haddish made history as the first African-American female comedian to host Saturday Night Live last night (Nov 11). As if etching her name in the history books wasn't enough, Haddish brought the house down with hilarious impersonations and epic sketches.
One of the highlights of Haddish's big night came when she channeled our girl, Cardi B. Appearing alongside Chris Redd, who starred as Cardi's fiancé Migos rapper, Offset, the duo participated in a funny sketch poking fun at the casting of the much-anticipated Disney's The Lion King remake. Cardi and Offset were auditioning for the highly coveted roles of Timon and Pumba in the SNL segment.
The laughs didn't end there. Haddish came back killing her impression of Mary J. Blige as she tried out for the movie as well. Hysterical impressions of Oprah Winfrey, LL Cool J, and Celine Dion going out for various roles in the film took the sketch to hilarious heights.
All jokes aside, the live-action Lion King remake is slated to hit theaters in 2019 with Donald Glover starring as Simba, James Earl Jones reprising his role as Mufasa and it was announced last week that Beyoncé would star as Nala.
From an audition, to a pilot shoot, to the Laugh Factory for a few jokes, watch Tiffany Haddish take us on a hilarious LA adventure.
