Hol' Up, Wait a Minute: Suge Knight Believes That Tupac Isn't Really Dead
Since Tupac Shakur was shot in a drive by shooting in September of 1996, there have been conspiracy theorists who believe that he actually survived. Now y'all can go ahead and add Suge Knight to that list.
Thanks to TMZ, you can hear Suge say it himself. Calling from the L.A. County jail, Knight spoke to Ice-T and journalist Soledad O'Brien for the special, Who Shot Biggie & Tupac? In the clip, we can see Ice-T putting his Law & Order: SVU knowledge to work and teaming up with O'Brien to investigate the two unsolved murders.
The conversation starts with Suge saying, "When Pac died...if he really did." To which O'Brien is like...
"What do you mean by that?" She asks the Death Row Records CEO.
"I mean, when I left that hospital, me and Pac was laughing and joking. So I don't see how can turn from doing well to doing bad," Knight tells Ice and Soledad.
And she forces him to clarify one more time for the people in the back: "So you seriously think that he might still be alive?"
To which Suge replies with a cryptic, "I'm gonna tell you this: With Pac...you never know."
The special airs Sunday, September 24th on FOX.
VH1 stars such as artist Trina and Love & Hip Hop stars Stevie J, Yandy and Karlie Redd remember Tupac's legacy.
