AC/DC's Phil Rudd Speaks Out On Leaving the Band and Latest Arrest: "I've Seen the Errors of My Ways"

It has been a wild 2015 for AC/DC's drummer Phil Rudd. He's left the band, he was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, and also pleaded guilty to a charge of threatening to kill a former employee after his first solo effort, Head Job, flopped. He even offered Rudd an associate $200,000, a motorbike and the choice of one of his cars or a house as payment to "take him out", which the associate turned down.

Speaking to Australia's A Current Affair, Rudd said, "I was pretty stressed at the time. I got back [to Australia] and the people who I had working for me for this [album] launch - it was a total f***ing disaster. So I was really pissed off."

He later expressed his regret for his actions, adding, "I've seen the errors of my ways... It's onward and upward from here."

Speaking about his relationship with his bandmates, Rudd told A Current Affair, "I wrote them a letter, I tried to get in contact with Angus... I've had no contact with anybody." Then went on to say, "I'm very disappointed ... But, you know, that's life."

Rudd also felt very optimistic about rejoining the band in the future. He stated, "There'll be another tour and another and I'll be on it. It'll go until we all die. We'll probably all have to be dead before it stops."

Hopefully the legendary band will come to terms and rock out once again. Only time will tell.
