Will Ferrell, Kevin Hart and Jimmy Fallon Should've Performed at Super Bowl XLIX Halftime
Jimmy Fallon's lip sync battle on the special post-Super Bowl XLIX edition of The Tonight Show put Katy Perry's unsurprisingly tacky halftime performance to shame. No sharks were harmed in the process of making these performances epic.
Will Ferrell channeled his inner Beyonce with a rendition of "Drunk In Love," people. This was obviously perfect in so many ways but mostly because we were missing Queen Bey's performance from last year terribly last night. #NeverForget. Jimmy got his Kelly Clarkson-inspired black leather glove on and brought the house down with "Since U Been Gone." Did we mention Kevin Hart and Will shared a beautiful moment during his performance of "All Of Me"?
It was gorgeous.
After a hint of "Let It Go," Drew Barrymore came and surprised us in the iconic "(I've Had) the Time of My Life" Dirty Dancing number with Jimmy.
So many emotions. Top top it all off, Kevin made Katy's performance seem particularly tragic by KILLING it with "Roar." He put hers to shame and didn't need a ginormous, creepy lion to do so.
We're sorry, Katy, but these guys just have it in the bag. Stage presence, poise, costumes and all. Be honest with yourself and just admit Will pulls off the Katniss Everdeen-inspired look much better than you do anyway.
