Lily Allen has never been one to shy away from telling the cold, hard truth nor has she ever skittered away from a challenge. So, we thought what better way to celebrate her new album, Sheezus, than with an old-fashioned game of "Truth or Dare." Luckily for us, Allen didn't disappoint. She taught us how to twerk and told us why Beyoncé is responsible for the worst hangover of her life.
We may already know that Lily Allen is a staunch Cumberbitch and that she loves a mean break up song, but it took a round of "Truth or Dare" to discover what makes her new album, Sheezus, different from previous outings, Alright, Still and It's Not Me, It's You.
"I'm happier on this record," the singer admitted. "I'm married and have children. I'm not angry and single."
That said, Allen is still taking on her critics on the album, most notably with songs like "Hard Out Here," which lambasts the music industry for its sexist double standards. Allen also highlights the nightlife in the music video for her new single, "Our Time," but what was the former wild child's craziest night out?
"I went to see Beyoncé in concert. We all got a little bit overexcited, stayed out a little too late, drunk a little too much..." she spilled. "Yeah, [I] had a very bad hangover for days!" Hangovers aside, Allen seems to be in fighting form on her new album and even showed our Ellie Lee how to get down and twerk.
Lily Allen's Sheezus is in stores now.
