Jennifer Lopez's Dramatic Reading of "Baby Got Back" Just Feels Right

We've never felt more at peace.

Jennifer Lopez is a jack of all trades. She can sing, dance, act--and do dramatic readings of Sir Mix-a-Lot songs, apparently.

J.Lo's surprising skill was kept hidden until this month. The folks over at W magazine featured Lopez on their April 2016 cover, and they did a video with the pop star that brought her talent to light. We're so thankful.

Lopez starts out slow and subtle, but as she continues reading she gets more energetic and really brings the butt-happy lyrics to life. "So, Cosmo says you're fat? Well I ain't down with that," Lopez smirks with one eyebrow raised. The 2017 Best Actress Oscar race just got a whole lot easier.

All of this feels so natural--yes, because Lopez is the original booty queen, but there's something else, too. She was actually the inspiration for Sir Mix-a-Lot's hit song. TMZ reports Sir Mix-a-Lot first noticed J.Lo's backside when she was a fly girl on In Living Color, and that inspired him to craft "Baby Got Back." Lopez's slam-poetry rendition of the song brings everything full circle--like a round butt, if you will.
