The next installment of the Fast and the Furious franchise, Fate of The Furious, is set to hit theaters on April 14. There's a reason fans go nuts for these high-intensity movies. The series is responsible for a staggering eight movies since 2001, it jumpstarted the action movie careers for stars like Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez, and it's raked in over $3.9 billion dollars in total box office sales worldwide.

The Fate of the Furious is set to be the franchise's most impressive film yet. Two Oscar-winning actresses join the cast, with Charlize Theron playing new villain, Cipher, while Helen Mirren also steps up to the plate. Mirren's real-life love of car racing lead her to publicly campaign for her part in F8.

The franchise has been super secretive about details of the upcoming film, but fans are getting hype regardless of spoilers. What we do know is there will be explosions, fast rides, and chase sequences that take place in Cuba, NYC, and the Arctic Circle.
