Demi Lovato Shades Mariah Carey on Instagram for Her "Nasty" Behavior Toward Jennifer Lopez

Demi Lovato is so not here for Mariah Carey's shady behavior.

The 23-year-old "Stone Cold" singer took to Instagram Thursday evening (June 16) after she spotted this meme unfavorably comparing Ariana Grande to Carey:

"You got it the wrong way around honey," Lovato replied, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. According to New York Daily News, in a later message, Lovato wrote, “Mariah is a legend and is so talented but constantly disses people. It’s nasty the way she treats Jennifer. Ari did nothing wrong."

If you're living under a rock, Carey and J.Lo have a long-standing, media-fueled rivalry because Carey iconically responded, "I don't know her" when asked about Lopez in the early 2000s. Lopez addressed the alleged feud in an interview with Access Hollywood, saying, "I've always been a big fan of her music...[and] I don't really buy into all the nonsense."

According to Pop Crave, Lovato found a clip of the AH interview on Instagram and commented, "Cause my girl is classy like that."

In one final read, Lovato called Carey a "superhero" and "extremely talented" but also "unnecessarily rude." Lady DemDem isn't playing games!
