'Love And Hip Hop Atlanta' - Episode 1 - "Hey Maid"
Love and Hip Hop Atlanta is back like it never left! Season two is poppin' more than you even imagined. Joseline Hernandez, baby, is still a star. And Mimi is pushed so far past her breaking point she put them paws on Stevie J.
Mimi's moved on! Or has she? Mimi crashing at Stevie J's place is all fine and dandy until Joseline walks in to find her there. Did you peep Mimi's impression of Joseline? "She was staying here?" Mimi asks Stevie. Of course she was. "She doesn't belong around a child. Period." Stevie reassures Mimi he's going to check Joseline. And to make sure Joseline isn't around their daughter, Mimi's going to start staying at Stevie J's house. Moving on will have to wait.
Scrappy's moved back in with Erica since they're engaged. Erica's not feeling Scrappy's spending habits because how are they going to plan a wedding if he's making it rain on Gucci, Louis and Polo. "I'm an entertainer. I got my whole swag game down packed." "Ball on a budget," Erica suggests. Getting Scrappy to agree on a maximum he can spend a month on clothes was not easy, but Erica worked her magic and got him down from $2,000 to $1,200. Erica just may be running things if these two make it to the altar.
Joseline, the Puerto Rican princess, is working and has no time for Stevie's nonsense. As he promised, he checks Joseline about getting out of line about his daughter. "Oh please. Who lived there for three months?" Joseline asks. Stevie obviously doesn't have such a tight reign on her anymore. Joseline has a major problem with Stevie letting Mimi spend the night while she was living in the house. "Stevie, please. You always want to go with the back and forth. Mimi, Molly the maid and Joseline the Puerto Rican princess." Joseline is letting him have it, honey. "Get the f-- up out of here so I can get back to work with yo monkey a--." We live!
After Shay ran off the stage at the reunion we thought she'd be MIA. But some people refuse to let things go. Momma Dee not being #teamErica doesn't help Shay move on since she has this false hope she can get back in good with Scrappy. "At the end of the day, he is the prince of the south and I cannot overthrone [sic] him," Momma Dee tells Shay. But Momma Dee has something up her sleeve. "It is not the wish of the Queen." Momma Dee is being messy. Asking Shay if she still loves her son and not to give up is a disaster waiting to happen. "Just watch out. Change is a'coming." Momma Dee won't stop until her girl Shay is back in Scrappy's arms.
K.Michelle signed a record deal with Warner Bros. Her upcoming album titled Rebellious Soul is very fitting. Her A&R wants to remember she has to repair her bad attitude reputation. "I'm not the girly R&B artist. It's not happening," she told him. "I need to f-- with the hood, the streets, I need to be like a female singing rapper, a mix between Fergie and Jesus." Girl, what? Count on K for the one-liners.
Erica's relationship with her mom has grown tremendously, but her mom is still not 100% on board with #teamScrappy. To show her mom that Scrappy is serious about marrying her she takes her mom to get the engagement ring appraised. Her mom reiterates that she's happy if Erica is happy, but Erica wants to know is she really happy with her and Scrappy's relationship. "I'm content. I'll be happy after the marriage." Erica cuts to the chase by asking, "So basically you're doubting that we're going to get married?" Mom dukes is 80% sure they'll get married. Erica's solution is showing her mom that the ring cost $21,000 so she'll understand how serious Scrappy is. "Love those numbers," mom said. But something tells us that didn't completely win her over.
Joseline hit up Benzino's late night radio show. Joseline is not going to bite her tongue for anyone, or any audience. "I'm the baddest chick, what can I say? They only want to see the Puerto Rican princess." Joseline's getting that bread--$20,000/week according to her math. What no one expected was her response to what's up with her and Stevie. "I love Stevie as a person, I appreciate him, but I just don't want to be with him. Currently I'm single, and I'm always looking for love, 'cause I like to have sex." Whoa. Benzino is concerned about whether or not Stevie J knows this. Joseline obviously doesn't care.
K.Michelle is going to plan Erica an engagement party. There's only one problem: K.Michelle doesn't really fool with everyone Erica loves. "Mimi, Ariane?" Erica asks. Nope. K.Michelle is not happy Ariane slept with her ex and didn't tell her. She spread her "hot pocket" and didn't tell her as a friend. "Rasheeda?" "No, no, no" K.Michelle responded. K was not budging on that one.
Stevie J heard Joseline's radio interview and decided he needed to smooth things over with his number one money maker. "You're such a pimp," Joseline tells him as she takes the purple fur he bought her out of the box. "I love the fur and everything like that, but if this is going to cost me I don't even want to take it." Joseline is tired of him treating her like a prostitute. "See what daddy do for you?" he asks. Getting rid of Stevie was never going to be that easy.
Ariane doesn't think she has a beef with K.Michelle. She just wants to clear the air and move on. But, "If she want to square up we can. Mississippi will come right up out this thang." Meanwhile K and Erica are already getting the party started. "Let's toast to having big butts, and not being sluts." When Ariane and Mimi walk in things get awkward as K.Michelle and Ariane ignore each other. Ariane breaks the ice by talking to K first, but K is not all warm with her at first. "To hear you were commenting on my life, was not appropriate," she said. "You hurt me...I forgave you once and it won't be a twice," she said. That's all Ariane needed to hear to end the convo. "Nah I ain't done talking, I started and I got some margarita," K said. K.Michelle's margarita comment had everyone cracking up. Ariane says she wasn't trying to hurt her, they kiss and make up, all is right with their foursome.
Scrappy's shopping on that $1200 budget Erica gave him. Momma Dee wants to present her case on why Shay is the woman for him. Only with Momma Dee she doesn't say that outright. "You sure that's the direction you want to go?" Momma Dee asked about Erica. Momma Dee wants him to know Shay has lost some weight and is looking, "FINNNE!" Scrappy says he wouldn't have lunch with her if she hit him up. "Oh, you know you want to." Scrappy is getting annoyed that his mom is trying so hard. "Your soon to be daughter-in-law, get cool with her," he tells her. "Let's get it together 'cause that's where I'm going." After wiping the lipstick off his cheek she says, "I don't want Erica to see that lipstick she might think it came from Shay." Momma Dee is messy; and going through great lengths to keep Erica and Stevie apart.
Mimi is enjoying her time playing house with Stevie J. Until Joseline walks in. "Hey, maid. I see you got on yo' maid outfit like you always do," Joseline says to Mimi. "You s--- a-- b*tch," Mimi said. She wants Joseline out. Now! Once outside Joseline leaves, but not without one last jab at Mimi. "She need to come clean my condo. That's what she need to do." Stevie J doesn't leave to go to the studio with Joseline. He stays to feel Mimi's wrath. "You so far up this h- a-- you can't think straight." Mimi is fired up in the bathroom. She really blows a fuse when he tells her to stop all the name calling and takes up for Joseline saying she's not a prostitute. "This b*tch want to call me a maid and everything else and you not gon' say s---?" Stevie J tells Mimi Joseline was joking which results in him getting bit on the cheek and a glass of water thrown at him. He walks out and leaves Mimi with a "Clean up my room Molly maid." And she thought Joseline was disrespectful.
It's going to be one hell of a ride. Stay tuned!
