The Queens Honor Judy Garland and Make Over Their Own Good Judies in the RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Sneak
Judy Garland left an indelible mark on the queer community with her death even being linked to the Stonewall Riots, the start of the modern LGBT liberation movement. This week the queens are honoring Miss Judy's legacy and also honoring their own good judies, a.k.a. besties.
In a sneak peek for the next RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars, the ladies come back into the work room after Latrice has sent home Valentina. Trinity admits to the remaining contestants that she also had chosen Valentina's lipstick but not because she was trying to save Naomi. She claims she chose Valentina because she is playing a fair game. She wants to be in the finale with the four that deserve to be there. The ladies run through their performance report cards but, in her confessional, Monét assesses all the chit chat, "Here's the T, girl, OK? People still wanna play fair. I think that's the general consensus but it's getting closer to the top four and I want to be at the end with a crown and a scepter and I will do whatever it takes to get there."
The following day in the werk room, the ladies notice that all of RuPaul's headshots are replaced by photos of aforementioned gay icon Judy Garland and the queens soon learn from Ru that they're going to be celebrating Garland in this week's maxi-challenge. First, they're going to makeover their best judy then they're going to have to do a Judy Garland-inspired routine with their new drag sister. In the words of Ru, "Family resemblance required." The emotions take over afterwards when the queens are greeted by their best friends, and in same cases that includes husbands and boyfriends.
Who will make sure they end up on top with their drag sis? And who will be sent "UGH" packing? Find out on an all new RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars, Friday at 8/7c.
