Chris Brown Has Something to Say About the Allegations That He is On Drugs

In case you thought his recent interviews have been a lil off.

It seems that with every new Chris Brown album comes a batch of new controversy surrounding the singer. Breezy is set to release his eighth album Heartbreak On A Full Moon, and is already dodging allegations that he may have a drug problem.

This morning, Chris was scheduled to appear on The Breakfast Club, but skipped the interview due to a sore throat that he wanted to rest in preparation for a pop up show later this evening. In lieu of having Chris Brown in the flesh, Charlamange Tha God allegedly spoke of Brown during the morning's broadcast and made mention of the singer appearing to be under the influence lately.

Twitter of course pitched in their two cents, both agreeing with and opposing the shock jock's opinion on CB's condition.

Brown promptly issued a statement via Instagram apologizing to listeners that were anticipating the interview while also expressing the negative spin The Breakfast Club put on his cancellation. Charlamagne also clarified via The Shade Room that he never accused Brown of abusing drugs, but simply found his behavior in recent interviews to be odd.

Breezy is no stranger to having to go up against such allegations. In a recent interview with Nessa On Air, he revealed that he doesn't consume any hard drugs and only dabbles in recreational marijuana. "Me doing interviews, you might think I move alot. It's just cuz I'm nervous in this damn interview. [People say] 'oh, he's on drugs.' No, I'm not!"

As for his next sit down at The Breakfast Club, CB promises to call in and make up for it at a later date.
