VH1 Star Stevie Ryan Dies at 33

Stevie Ryan, star of the former VH1 show Stevie TV and popular YouTuber, has died at age 33 from a reported suicide.

The actress first gained widespread internet fame in 2006 via her popular YouTube series titled Little Loca. It wasn't long before Stevie's brilliant videos landed her an original sketch comedy series on VH1, >Stevie TV. Stevie lit up the screen with colorful parodies of pop stars like Justin Bieber, Amy Winehouse and Lady Gaga. Stevie TV had an incredible two season run from March 2012 to July 2013.

Stevie later went on to devote her comedic genius to other ventures. She came aboard as a co-host on Brody Jenner's E! series Sex With Brody, and launched a podcast called Mentally Ch(ill) where she openly discussed battle with mental illness and depression.

Several stars close to Stevie have since reacted to the news of her passing on social media, including fellow Mentally Ch(ill) co-host Kristen Carney, Drake & Josh’s Drake Bell and fellow YouTube sensation Chris Crocker.

A VH1 spokesperson offered these heartfelt thoughts in a statement.

"Whether playing Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian or a multitude of other characters, Stevie Ryan's impersonations were hilarious and spot-on in her VH1 series "Stevie TV." Our thoughts are with her family and friends during this difficult time."

Stevie will always be remembered for her effortless humor and kind spirit. She is a dear member of the VH1 family and will be missed.
