The 10 Best Movie Strippers of All Time

It's been three years since the world got to see what Channing Tatum, Super Hot Stripper looks like, thanks to Magic Mike and the fan-favorite "Pony" sequence. (And, OK, just about every other scene in that movie.)

Now audiences will get to see even more of him (and his equally talented co-stars like Joe Manganiello, Matt Bomer, and Adam Rodriguez) in the eagerly anticipated sequel, Magic Mike XXL. The mega-hot men of the Magic Mike series have raised the bar for movie strippers, but they're not the only movie stars who've had all the right moves.

As we look forward to see the men of Magic Mike work, well, their magic, once again, we're looking back at the most impressive erotic and exotic dancers portrayals ever captured on film. Here are 10 of our all-time favorites.

Tyson Beckford in Chocolate City (2015)

Taking clothes off was nothing new for the model, but it was never like this. You know, set to music and all rhythmic and gyrating. The tagline for Chocolate City should have been "The thirst is real." Ours was, at least.

Demi Moore in Striptease (1996)

Demi Moore has always looked phenomenal, but she dropped all the jaws when she dropped it all in this titillating 1996 crime dramedy about a mom trying to regain custody of her daughter...by stripping.

Channing Tatum in Magic Mike (2012)

We knew Channing had moves from Step Up and Step Up 2: The Streets, but it wasn't until Magic Mike, which was loosely based on his experience stripping in Florida when he was 18, that we realized just how much we'd like jump on his saddle and ride his pony.

Salma Hayek in From Dusk Till Dawn (1996)

Salma knows what she's doing up on that stage as vampire stripper Santánico Pandemonium. She's dangerous, yes, but so hot that you can reconcile being bitten by her just to enjoy the show for a while.

Vivica A. Fox in Independence Day (1996)

Of course she's a total babe in this action flick. It's right there in her name: She's "A Fox."

Matthew McConaughey in Magic Mike (2012)

It's a damn tragedy that Matthew McConaughey won't be back for more Magic Mike action, but we'll always have "Ladies of Tampa." Oh, and those abs.

Natalie Portman in Closer (2004)

Natalie Portman earned her first Oscar nomination for her performance in this sexy drama, and we're guessing this provocative scene may have had something to do with that.

Rose McGowan in Planet Terror (2007)

Not only does Rose McGowan have one of the most impressive strip scenes ever, but she also has, arguably, the best stripper name: Cherry Darling.

Elizabeth Berkley in Showgirls (1995)

Berkley was coming off of the goofy sitcom Saved by the Bell and wanted to show that she was all grown up. With the sexy moves on display in this campy classic, she discarded the image of brainy, wholesome Jessie Spano like so many brassieres.

Jessica Alba in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014)

Alba's moves were awesome in Sin City back in 2005. The rule of sequels is you always go bigger, and GD she did here with her angry stripper act.
