2016 Golden Globes host Ricky Gervais is back and ready to cause a stir.

Ricky's opening monologue included a pun about Caitlyn Jenner, who has been the butt of many a joke over the past year. In case you missed it, here's what Ricky said about the former Olympian:

"I've changed a lot. Not as much as Bruce Jenner, now Caitlyn Jenner, of course. What a year she's had. She became a role model for trans people everywhere, showing great bravery in breaking down barriers and stereotypes. She didn't do a lot for women drivers, but you can't do everything, can you?"

Admittedly, it could have been worse, but still. It's 2016 and we're still joking about Caitlyn Jenner. When will it end?
