There's no doubt that this has been a banner year in the realm of movies and television. So for first time in history, MTV has decided to round up a celebration for the best of the best on the big and small screen. Producers, directors and break out actors from our favorite flicks and shows have been bringing their A game, and it's time to break out the trophies for a job well done. Excited AF is what we are.

And would you look at this, VH1's own is reppin' on this year's roster. Everyone's favorite kitchen gang Martha & Snoop are nominated for Best TV Duo (duh). Oh, and we absolutely must tip our hats to the RuPaul's Drag Race family, which is up for Best Reality Competition and Best Host. Werk!

On the movie front, the hit thriller Get Out swept up nominations including Movie of the Year and Best Actor for Daniel Kaluuya's incredible performance as Chris. Fan faves This Is Us, Game Of Thrones and Insecure are also up for Show Of The Year. The best part? We choose the winners. That's right, each category will be chosen via public voting which is now open. The power is with the people!
