Bonnaroo Snags Paul McCartney, Mumford And Sons, R. Kelly And Wu-Tang Clan

After dominating music in 2012 the Brits reign has crept into the new year. It's a British family affair with Paul McCartney and Mumford & Sons headlining Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival this summer. Hopefully Manchester, TN can handle all that bloody talent at once.

From June 13-16 thousands will trample the 700-acre farm to see over 120 eclectic acts in the sweltering summer Tennessee heat. And it's a pretty appetizing roster. For starters Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers join Paul and Mumford as  headliners. Holding down R&B you have the man largely considered a musical genius--R. Kelly. Representing for bands there's The Lumineers and Passion Pit. Other notables scheduled to hit one of the many stages include Bjork and Billy Idol.

For rap acts the Bonnaroo committee had a great come-to-Jesus moment and pulled some top-notch talent. Two syllables: Wu-Tang. Celebrating their 20th anniversary Wu-Tang will be live in the flesh at one of the summer's biggest music festivals. Why they aren't headlining behooves us, but we'll just enjoy the fact that all of Wu-Tang will be together on one stage. Hip-hop heavyweight Nas, Kendrick Lamar and A$AP Rocky are also on the bill. Bonnaroo gets major props for the all-star lineup this year. Weathering the TN heat seems a little less impossible.
