Watching This Reunion Between Mary J. Blige and Lauryn Hill is Exactly How You Should Start Your Week

Simply legendary!

Feeling a little gloomy this Monday? Allow this glorious moment to ease you into the week.

The stars aligned at the Cannes Film Festival over the weekend, allowing Mary J. Blige, Lauryn Hill and Naomi Campbell to meet backstage for an emotional (and long overdue) reunion. The three queens, whose careers have stretched on since the '90s, clearly hadn't seen each other in quite some time. The encounter brought our girl MJB to tears. "I miss you," a nearly sobbing Mary is heard saying to her dear friend Lauryn. As Naomi looks on in amazement, you can honestly feel the positive energy and love radiating from the screen. The feels!

Ms. Hill was definitely impressed by how amazing MJB looked after all these years.

More than anything, this moment is a testament to Ms. Campbell's ability to pull major names together in the same room. The supermodel held her Fashion For Relief show at a hangar at the Mandelieu private jet charter airport in Cannes. Mary attended as one of the guests, sitting among a sea of fellow A-listers including Leonardo DiCaprio, Antonio Banderas and Faye Dunaway, to name a few. Ms. Hill was invited as the entertainment for the evening, rocking a godly headpiece and white ensemble.

The last time we saw old buddies Mary and Lauryn pose for a pic was in 2000 at the 42nd Annual Grammy Awards. My how time flies!

Seriously, we'd pay to be a fly on the wall in this moment.

Mary J. Blige gives a heart warming speech honoring her mother Cora Blige, and shares how she raised her to be a strong woman.
