Speaker Nancy Pelosi Will Be Honored at This Year's 'Trailblazer Honors'

Hear ye, hear ye! Where's my gavel? I have a big announcement! House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will be honored at this year's Trailblazer Honors!

Pelosi joins her fellow honoree and true trailblazer Ava DuVernay! The one-hour special will air on International Women’s Day, Friday, March 8th at 9PM ET/PT, on VH1 and Logo.

And this isn't her first time at the Trailblazer Honors! She honored Cyndi Lauper with her award back in 2017, and offered some words of wisdom from the stage.

Pelosi currently serves as the 52nd Speaker of the House of Representatives. She made history back in 2007 when she became the first woman ever elected to the position and then made history again when she became the first person in more than 60 years to regain the title. Pelosi has always served as a powerful voice for human and civil rights around the world. Who better to honor at an event that is all about celebrating those who have dedicated their time and effort to the women's movement and beyond!?
