These Adele Stans Shutting Down Her Fat-Shamers Will Restore Your Faith in Humanity

Thank these good people on Twitter doing the Lord's work on a Friday.

Adele, who is on the verge of making a triumphant and highly anticipated return with 25, dropped the visuals for "Hello" on YouTube yesterday. Adele fans were quick to praise the video, which stars Mack Wilds as Adele's love interest, but unfortunately, not everyone had kind words to say about the video β€” or Adele.

The "Hello" video and hype surrounding it have prompted the scum of the earth to get out their Twitter thumbs and fat-shame Adele. Said SOTE (scum of the earth) have been maliciously calling Adele things like "fat devil" and making "it's not over 'til the fat lady sings" jokes like a bad comedy show in the Lower East Side. There are many things wrong with this, and I'll give you three to start.

Firstly, it's ridiculous that people are bringing Adele's appearance into a conversation that focuses on her music. Why is it that people have such a problem with a woman so talented, she doesn't need to strip or change her body to get your attention? The woman has 10 Grammy Awards for cripe's sake. Which SOTE has just one? Secondly, it's abominable that people have been so quick to criticize Adele's weight when she looks stunning in the video and promotional pictures for the album. Are we so brainwashed that we need to see thigh gaps, ass, and boobs to deem something worth our time? Moreover, who the hell said bigger women aren't beautiful? Thirdly, it's never okay to fat-shame anyone, and it's definitely not okay to do it on social media. You can only hide behind your tweets for so long.

We could post some of the harmful tweets here, but we're not going to. This is because the SOTE have in turn prompted Adele stans to hop on Twitter and shut down the fat-shamers. May these good people doing the Lord's work restore your faith in humanity and may you get all of your life on this Friday from them. Oh, and check out Adele's new video for "Hello" above. She is BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL in it. And Mack Wilds, who will star in VH1's The Breaks, is hot, too.
